Chrysoprase Pendant Necklace (SS106)
This is a chunky slab of raw chrysoprase in a gorgeous peppermint green. Chrysoprase, mined in Australia, can vary in its greeness, according to the amount of nickel content. It is a variety of chalcedony which is itself a variety of quartz.
I've attached this to a chunky sterling silver rolo chain by looping a thick piece of sterling silver wire through the stone (which was cut and drilled here in the UK).
Simple - but stylish.
The necklace is 18.5" (475mm) long and fastens with a sterling silver hook clasp.
