Dionysos Nymph Magenta/Teal Dragonfly Necklace (BWD06)
Depending on the light, this dragonfly pendant is a rich turquoise/teal or shiny magenta with a gorgeous luminescence. I've reflected the colours in the beadwork, bezeling the Czech glass button (4cm across) with seed beads and tiny magenta firepolished beads.
The necklace (19.5"/505mm) I worked in a modified chenille stitch with the same tiny magenta firepolish beads interspersed in the teal colours. The colours reflect the jewel colours of damselflies as they flit about the waterlilies in ponds.
There is something luxuriously decadent about this - but it is pretty enough to wear with any summer outfit, or for a special occasion.
