Emerald Wave Deco Beadwork Bracelet (BB47)
I wanted to explore with form in making this bracelet and decided to make each side a different angle in how I stitched the beads together, forming a wave when the bracelet is laid out flat with an asymetrical look when the bracelet is worn (the components are tighter together on one side in one strap and on the opposite side in the other strap). I also wanted an art deco look to the bracelet.
I used lots of tiny Swarovski crystals* in the beadwork in crystal and emerald green with a square cut Swarovski crystal as the central focal point.
The bracelet is 8" (21cm) long, fastening with a squared beadwork toggle clasp. The stitch I worked in is cubic right angle weave.
*Swarovski have announced that they are restructuring their business and will not be manufacturing beads and crystals to be sold through resellers into the jewellery trade. Which means - no more Swarovski crystals in my jewellery once current stocks have been used.
