Firecracker Beadwork Necklace (BW29)
The original design for this necklace came from celebrated Japanese beadworker Sonoko Nozue. I've adapted it to create this necklace, called Firecracker because of the bursts of colour and the spiky effect of the strands of beads.
There are four strands of beads, each caught by a shared O bead with little colourful terminals in each section, alternated with shiny black or matte black seed bead terminals.
The necklace is as light as a feather to wear butt fizzes and pops with shape and colour.
It is 23" (850mm) long and fastens with a silver plated magnetic clasp. (To unfasten, slide the two sides apart or prise them apart - do not pull apart using the beadwork either side).
