Green Blue Russian Spiral Stitch Necklace Chameleon (BW55)
Blue and green look wonderful together but this necklace has an additional characteristic - in artificial light it has a more turquoise look, in natural light more emerald.
I used a greeny blue teal matt seed bead for the majority of the necklace, with clear aquamarine seed beads and cobalt blue shiny seed beads and bugles. The stitch is Russian spiral, which natural twists as you work it - great fun!
The necklace is 19" (485mm) long with a handbeaded toggle clasp and, being beadwork, is as light as a feather to wear. It is also useful for those with metal allergies as there are no metal parts - all of it was created using tiny glass seed beads (it took ages!).
