Green Onyx Precious Friendship Bracelet (SM141)
This are tiny roughly faceted green onyx stones, irregular in size and shape and in their drill holes - which makes for a charming bohemian look I think!
The colour though, is what we are going for here - a gorgeous emerald green but without the price tag of emeralds. Green onyx is formed in bands of microcrystals of silica, morganite and quartz unlike emerald which is formed as a single crystal. Although still hard - green onyx is 6.5 - 7 on the Mohs scale, it is not as hard as emerald which is 7.5 - 8.
All that being said, this is a very pretty little Precious Friendship bracelet, strung (but knotted either end for security) and fastening with a Karen Hill Tribe silver (purer than sterling) toggle clasp. To fasten simply bend the bar back on itself and push through the ring.
The bracelet is 7.25" (19.5cm) long and comes with a gift box, ready to present to that special someone.
