Pink Amethyst Necklace and Earrings Set (SM79)
Pink amethyst is also known as "Rose de France" and is of a more subtle hue than the usual purple amethyst.
These are AAA quality gemstones from Brazil. The pink amethyst briolettes have been cut in the chequerboard style and catch the light beautifully. There are 90 carats of stones, each measuring between 10mm and 12mm in width. These have been strung with 45 carats of smooth pink amethyst roundels, graduated from 3mm - 5mm.
I've wire wrapped the earring briolettes with sterling silver, adding a little sterling silver bead and suspending them from sterling silver stud earrings.
The necklace measures 17" (435mm) and fastens with a hammered sterling silver toggle clasp, with sterling silver beads either side for added elegance. The earrings have a drop of 25mm.
