Walberswick bohemain jewellery
Walberswick was part of the English impressionism movement in the late 1800s, with Philip Wilson Steer the most well known. Walberswick today is famed for the writers and film makers who have homes there and it remains an 'unfinished" seaside village, where the old fishermen's huts are black creosote, rather than the bright colours of neighbouring Southwold's beach huts and where you can return to the simpler pleasures of being by the sea and walking among the dunes. The 'unfinished" look of raw, semiprecious gemstones - in all of their unpolished, unfacetted originality - inspires the Walberswick collection of handmade raw stone jewellery.
